Interesting move by MS to license the rights to create fancy new office 2007 UIs. The one exception is that you can't use the ui in a competing product [ read OpenOffice ].
This just seems silly to me, but hey you gotta protect the cash cow somehow...
So what happens when wx, or qt include a ribbon in their toolkit and some project like say koffice just happen to use it? I guess it would be good press for koffice (especially since it should run on windows/macs soon) Any of the 5 koffice people out there listening?
